The printer makes use of xerography instead of applying ink onto the paper in the way that an [inkjet printer](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expression-photo) works. The system doesn't require paper to be fed into it, but rather works by being positioned over the paper and activating it to project the image onto it. The handheld functionality will maximize how and where the printer can be used instead of opting for a stationary construction. The 'Printall' handheld printer concept could help to drastically [reduce paper waste](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loop-concept) by printing images or documents onto existing paper of any size without having to cut off the excess. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 97% | Activity: 78% | Freshness: 12% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Paper Waste Reduction:** The 'Printall' Handheld Printer Concept drastically reduces paper waste by printing on existing paper of any size. - **Portable Printing:** The handheld functionality of the 'Printall' Printer Concept maximizes where and how it can be used. - **Innovative Printing Technology:** The xerography technology used in the 'Printall' Printer Concept offers a disruptive alternative to inkjet printers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Printing Industry:** The 'Printall' Handheld Printer Concept offers an opportunity for the printing industry to innovate and reduce paper waste. - **Office Supplies Industry:** The 'Printall' Handheld Printer Concept offers an opportunity for the office supplies industry to streamline printing processes and reduce waste. - **Retail Industry:** The 'Printall' Handheld Printer Concept, as a portable and innovative technology, could potentially disrupt the retail industry with its versatile uses. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Paper-Saving Printer Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roller-jet-printer.md) - [Industrial Handheld Printer Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scribe-handheld-printer.md) - [Freestyle Desktop Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dual-printer-device.md) - [Subtle Smartphone-Friendly Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-image-box.md) - [Eco-Friendly Laser Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hp-laser-printer.md) - [Advanced Tap-to-Print Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/huawei-pixlab-x1.md) - [Elongated Photo Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hp-sprocket-panorama.md) - [Sticky Note Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nemonic-gen-2.md) - [Open Platform Printers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-printer.md)
