This heavyweight [pen holder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pareto-pot) doubles as a [paperweight](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forming-function-nomad-collection) and boasts a [magnetic wrist](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mezmopen) that will attract and keep your paper clips in place. Though the Hand Pen Holder is top notch as far as function goes, Urban Outfitters does not skimp out on the fun either. The minimalistic appendage office supply is quirky, creative and a little creepy. Regardless, I would love to have a Hand Pen Holder sitting on my desk. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 35% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Quirky Office Supplies:** Companies can capitalize on the trend of adding creative twists to everyday office supplies, like the Hand Pen Holder. - **Multi-functional Desk Accessories:** The Hand Pen Holder's dual purpose as a pen holder and paperweight presents opportunities for creating more innovative and practical desk accessories. - **Magnetic Organizers:** The magnetic wrist of the Hand Pen Holder demonstrates the potential for developing magnetic organizers that can keep small office supplies in place. ### Where This Applies - **Retail:** Retailers can explore the market for unique and quirky office supplies, tapping into the demand created by trends like the Hand Pen Holder. - **Stationery:** The Stationery industry can innovate by designing multi-functional desk accessories that combine practicality with a touch of creativity, inspired by products like the Hand Pen Holder. - **Office Supplies:** Companies in the office supplies industry can develop magnetic organizers that provide efficient storage solutions for small items, inspired by the Hand Pen Holder. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dumpster Pencil Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dumpstuder-pencil-holders.md) - [Clipping Pen Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-clippen.md) - [Galactic-Themed Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ufo-desk-pen.md) - [Organized Minimal Pen Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stilo75-pen-holder.md) - [Floating Futuristic Writing Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/levitating-pen.md) - [Minimal Compact Pen Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serenity-pen-stand.md) - [Three-in-One Writing Utensils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tp-pen.md) - [Multipurpose Workstation Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-wooden-cubic-pot.md) - [Magnetic Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shearing-magnetic-absorption.md)
