It is comprised of [six cottages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/necklace-villa) made with [wooden materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-saidera) and it connects together with a sinuous swooping roof in Karuizawa, central Japan. The design language channels a look of 'a family holding hands.' It is designed for a family of four and it is found on a hill looking at Mount Asama. The studio speaks about the design to Dezeen, noting "The cottages are gently intertwined, with the roofs harmoniously 'holding hands.' The house maintains a respectful distance that honours each family member's time and individuality while still fostering connection among the family, resulting in a true embodiment of 'a family holding hands'."
