# Wooden Letter Living Widjedal Racki Bergerhoff Creates a Wood-Slated 'H House' By Rachel | Published 2010-03-21 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/h-house References: [dailytonic](http://www.dailytonic.com/h-house-by-widjedal-racki-bergerhoff-se/) & [wrb.se](http://www.wrb.se/) Little makes me happier than great architecture, so this 'H House' design by Widjedal Racki Bergerhoff makes me very happy indeed. Located to look over the ocean in Sweden, the 'H House' is shaped, well, like an H. It shows off the indoors and outdoors, featuring a protected courtyard. The 'H House' is so great because of the balance of the internal and external design elements. I would move to Sweden for this house, that's how much I like it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sustainable Architecture:** The 'H House' design by Widjedal Racki Bergerhoff showcases the potential for sustainable and eco-friendly architecture. - **Indoor-outdoor Living:** The 'H House' demonstrates the growing trend of seamless indoor-outdoor living spaces that blend nature and architecture. - **Courtyard Design:** The protected courtyard in the 'H House' reflects the trend of creating private outdoor spaces that offer tranquility and relaxation. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture & Design:** The 'H House' design presents opportunities for architects and designers to explore innovative and sustainable approaches to residential design. - **Construction:** The seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces in the 'H House' provides opportunities for the construction industry to develop new building techniques and materials. - **Real Estate:** With the high demand for sustainable and attractive homes, the 'H House' design can inspire real estate developers to create similar properties that appeal to buyers seeking a connection with nature. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Y-Shaped Glazed Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-y-house.md) - [Hat-Shaped Metal-Topped Holiday Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hee-house.md) - [Relaxing Wooden Holiday Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heatherhill-beach-house.md) - [Serene Timeless Minimal Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-hkarn.md) - [Natural Material Stilted Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yngsj.md) - [Sustainable Cubic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/appels-architekten.md) - [Wood Cladded Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grafton-house.md) - [Tar-Coated Timber Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-tjurpannan.md) - [Coastal Summer Calm Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hors.md)
