# Youth Doorframe Gyms This Home Gym for Kids Can Be Set Up in Any Interior Doorway By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2016-04-07 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gym-for-kids References: [hammacher](http://www.hammacher.com/Product/Default.aspx?sku=86448) The Doorway Jungle Gym for kids is styled like many pull-up bars for adults, but puts more of an emphasis on gymnastic movements and play. The inventive indoor jungle gym uses a sturdy aluminum support bar and a system of interchangeable attachments that securely clip on with hooks. The system is said to be able "to withstand the pent-up energy of a child stuck inside on a rainy day" with options that let kids perform acrobatic tricks from a trapeze bar or get height from the seat of a swing. While the attachments should be removed when not in use, once the support bar has been installed in a home doorframe, the door can be opened and closed without interfering normal use of the passageway. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.0/10 - Popularity: 54% | Activity: 58% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Indoor Gym Equipment for Kids:** The trend of indoor gym equipment for kids allows them to engage in physical activities and play in the comfort of their own homes. - **Gymnastics-inspired Play:** The trend of incorporating gymnastic movements into play equipment provides a fun and challenging experience for children, promoting strength, agility, and coordination. - **Space-saving Home Fitness Solutions:** The trend of space-saving home fitness solutions offers parents the convenience of providing their children with engaging physical activities without requiring dedicated playrooms or outdoor spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Children's Fitness Equipment:** The children's fitness equipment industry can benefit from developing innovative and safe indoor gym equipment that promotes physical activity and play for kids. - **Home Gym Equipment:** The home gym equipment industry can explore the opportunity to create specialized products that cater to children's fitness needs, offering parents convenient indoor exercise options for their kids. - **Family Entertainment and Recreation:** The family entertainment and recreation industry can tap into the demand for gymnastics-inspired play equipment by incorporating such features into indoor play centers or amusement facilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Tension-Mounted Gyms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kensui.md) - [Contemporary Playroom Features](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/randle-wall-climbing-handle.md) - [Fitness-Inspired Backyard Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backyard-playsets.md) - [At-Home Smart Pull-Up Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-grip.md) - [Plug-and-Play Workout Equipment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pocket-gym.md) - [Family-Friendly Home Gyms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeke-k1-smart-home-gym.md) - [Trampoline-Enabled Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tekygo.md) - [Children-Friendly Jiu-Jitsu Academies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jiujitsu-gym.md) - [Adjustable Workout Conditioning Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flyweight-home-gym.md)
