The bears are equipped with a parachute and flow gracefully back down to earth. You may be wondering where you would use such a random device- wedding receptions. The trend in Japan is to throw teddy bears instead of rice or flowers. The company also produces a paintball marker used to fire paintballs at escaping criminals so they can be identified and captured. The guns will go on sale this month and will be marketed to businesses. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Teddy Bear Throwing:** Opportunity for event planning companies to create unique wedding experiences by offering teddy bear throwing as a alternative to traditional rice or flower throwing. - **Parachute-enabled Products:** Potential for innovation in various industries by incorporating parachutes into products, such as toys, gadgets, or sports equipment, for added excitement and functionality. - **Identifying Paintball Marker:** Disruptive innovation opportunity for security companies to develop and promote an identifying paintball marker to assist in capturing criminals and improving law enforcement efforts. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Event Planning:** Opportunity for event planning companies to tap into the growing trend of teddy bear throwing at weddings and offer unique services and experiences. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Incorporating parachutes into toys can revolutionize the industry by creating new and exciting play experiences for children and collectors alike. - **Security Services:** Developing and marketing an identifying paintball marker can provide security companies with a disruptive tool to aid in criminal identification and capture. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creator-Backed Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mrbeast.md) - [Anti-Gun Water Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antigun-water-toys-jayhayspray20-promotes-change-in-societys-relationship-w.md) - [Gun Violence Prevention Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandy-hook-promise.md) - [Synchronous Firing Water Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/synchronous-firing-water-gun.md) - [Gel-Equipped Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-gelfire-mythic.md) - [Paintball-Shooting Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paintcam-home-security-system.md) - [Giftable Flower-Themed Bears](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/furever-flower-shoppe.md) - [Gummy Bear Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squeezable-toy.md) - [AI-Powered Teddy Bear Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tedi.md)
