I would never advocate smoking, but if you have to, then it's important to have a geeky ashtray to put your butts in. The Gundam ashtray *is* that ashtray. The Gundam ashtray comes in two designs inspired by the old-school Gundam anime comics of the past. This ashtray also comes with a built-in LED light to help guide your hand during nighttime smoking sessions. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Media](https://www.trendhunter.com/media) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Geeky Ashtrays:** Creating ashtrays with geeky designs for fans of different subcultures. - **Anime-inspired Merchandise:** Producing merchandise inspired by popular anime characters and series. - **Functional Smoking Accessories:** Developing smoking accessories with added features for convenience and enjoyment. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Innovating decorative items for homes that cater to specific interests and hobbies. - **Merchandising:** Capitalizing on the popularity of various subcultures by creating merchandise with their themes. - **Smoking Accessories:** Designing functional and aesthetically pleasing tools for smokers to enhance their smoking experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Retro-Modern Ashtray Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/houseplant-side-table-ashtray.md) - [Mecha Anime-Inspired Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gundam-1.md) - [Mecha Sci-Fi Smartphone Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-gundam-collection.md) - [Storage-Equipped Concrete Ashtrays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vessel-ash.md) - [Clamping Windproof Ashtrays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clamping-windproof-ashtray.md) - [Anime Robot-Inspired Clogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rx782.md) - [Elevated Celeb-Backed Ashtray Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ashtray-set.md) - [Retro Ashtray Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-ashtray.md) - [Collaborative Upcycled Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-suit-gundam-seed.md)
