Although the pieces look like something out of grannies' cottage-like home, each piece boasts [secret compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/taarof-table) to hold a range of firearms. The gun-concealing furniture company was founded by Dan Ingram. Extremely successful based on web traffic and social media numbers alone ( i.e. 140,000-plus [Facebook](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/facebook-verified) likes and 30,000 website hits), the gun-concealing furniture includes coat racks, end tables, nightstands, coffee tables, wall shelves and even clocks. As for safety, [each design locks mechanically](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brown-safe-manufacturing) with hidden electronic keypads, conventional keys, remote electronic key fobs or the old hidden-magnet trick. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.6/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 94% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Concealment Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop high-end luxury concealment furniture that seamlessly integrates with modern home decor. - **Home Security Solutions:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create advanced home security solutions that combine technology and design to provide hidden storage and protection for valuables. - **Stealth Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design furniture and home accessories that hide their true purpose, offering a sense of security and discretion to users. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with security experts to create a line of furniture focused on hidden compartments and secure storage options. - **Home Security:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop smart home security systems that integrate with concealment furniture, providing a comprehensive security solution for homeowners. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Partner with concealment furniture companies to offer customized design services that utilize hidden storage solutions without compromising aesthetics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hidden Compartment Metallic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stainless-steel-furniture-set.md) - [Discreet Folding Shelf Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-shelf.md) - [Board Game Furniture Innovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bandpass-design.md) - [Adaptive Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/expand-furniture.md) - [Cabinet-Concealed Modern Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obelisk-3.md) - [Whimsical Stationery-Branded Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rifle-paper-co-launched.md) - [Organized Gaming Storage Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte.md) - [Sleek Open-Space Furniture Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-box.md) - [Minimalist Cannabis Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alter-interiors.md)
