Conceived to promote Kian, the wooden poster was built to function as a [fully playable instrument](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rosewood-guitar). The Guitar Poster was crafted with the same techniques used to create an actual guitar. As a result, it can be plugged into an amp to produce music just like a real instrument. The intricate poster was crafted out of [premium reforestation wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/torch-t01). Beautifully designed lettering that reads "A sound of your own" was etched onto the wood using machinery. Beside the text is the upper half a guitar complete with metal strings and a jack hole for an amp. All of this was created by a craftsman from Kian Guitars to prove how effective Kian is at creating [custom guitars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shark-guitars). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Marketing](https://www.trendhunter.com/marketing) > [Branding](https://www.trendhunter.com/branding) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Playable Instrument Posters:** There is a growing trend of creating playable instruments that are also decorative pieces of art, opening up opportunities for artists and musicians to collaborate and create unique experiences. - **Customizable Musical Decor:** A trend towards customizable, high-quality musical decor like the Guitar Poster provides a disruptive innovation opportunity for companies who want to create new and unique home or art products that also have functional musical applications. - **Sustainable Musical Instrument Design:** As more companies focus on sustainable production methods, there is a growing trend towards using premium, eco-friendly materials to create high-quality musical instruments that are also environmentally conscious. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Musical Instruments:** Innovative instrument companies can create new products and designs that offer both aesthetic and functional value, providing consumers with unique and customizable musical experiences. - **Home Decor:** Combining musical functionality with artistic design in home decor products creates a new market segment for companies seeking to disrupt traditional home decor offerings. - **Advertising & Marketing:** Creating playable instrument advertisements like the Guitar Poster allows companies to create memorable experiences for consumers that are both innovative and engaging. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [DIY Beer Guitars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/busch-light.md) - [Minimalist Instrument-Holding Amplifiers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/breeze-guitar-amp.md) - [Electronic String Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/harmoni.md) - [Effect-Emitting Guitar Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guitar-gadgets.md) - [Packable Electroacoustic Travel Guitars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travel-guitar.md) - [Braille-Covered Electric Guitars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vitar-guitar.md) - [Futuristic Abstract Musical Instruments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zeta-electric-guitar.md) - [All-in-One Audio Entertainment Guitars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/enya-nexg-smart-guitar.md) - [Celestial Smart Bamboo Guitars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/natasha-bamboo-smart-guitar.md)
