# ChildishSuperhero Art Guillermo Tineo Ramos Renders Pint-Sized Versions of Marvel Superheroes By Jason Soy | Published 2012-01-22 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/guillermo-tineo-ramos References: [herochan](http://herochan.com/post/16061232469/heroes#post-notes) & [memix62.deviantart](http://memix62.deviantart.com/) If you’re a comic book geek and looking for a new desktop wallpaper, any of these Guillermo Tineo Ramos creations will surely satiate your needs. But rather than simply rendering popular superheroes from the [Marvel Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stuf-of-legends) universe, Ramos has re-imagined Wolverine, [Captain America](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myprotein-captain-america), Hulk, Iron Man and Thor as pint-sized child-like cartoons. The results are simultaneously adorable and badass. Each Guillermo Tineo Ramos remix has characters with super round heads and alien-like almond eyes. They almost resemble the aesthetics of Japanese animation, or are, at the very least, on their level of cuteness. Four of the five Ramos illustrations also depict members of The Avengers, though I’m sure fans won’t mind that Ramos has included an infamous X-Men character in the mix. Guillermo Tineo Ramos is a Santiago, Chile-based illustrator. Many of his artistic creations are inspired by the graphic novel world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, South America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Childish Superhero Art:** The trend of creating cartoons of popular superheroes that are simultaneously adorable and badass. - **Pint-sized Heroes:** The trend of rendering superheroes as pint-sized child-like cartoons with super round heads and alien-like almond eyes. - **Graphic Novel Inspiration:** The trend of creating artistic creations inspired by the graphic novel world. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Animation:** Opportunity for animation studios to create new superhero cartoons in the style of Guillermo Tineo Ramos' designs. - **Merchandising:** Opportunity for companies to market and sell merchandise such as wallpapers, posters, and collectibles featuring pint-sized versions of popular superheroes. - **Comic Book Art:** Opportunity for comic book illustrators to explore new design styles and methods influenced by Guillermo Tineo Ramos' artwork. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Comic-Inspired Soda Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-heroes.md) - [Washable Superhero Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/superhero-rugs.md) - [Comic-Themed Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/super-heroes-vs-villains.md) - [Superhero-Themed Headphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3dprinted-headphone-stands.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Wristwatches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deadpool-and-wolverine-1.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Popcorn Buckets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deadpool-wolverine1.md) - [Healthy Superhero-Themed Snacks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/too-yumm.md) - [Retro-Futuristic Collector Watches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-and-gshock.md) - [Comic Book Hero Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros.md)
