Even though the makers of the Guarda Luz Lamp exercised [traditional manufacturing practices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farolito), the product manages to exude a convincingly contemporary appearance. Glass-blowing techniques produce the beautiful [bulbous forms of the light fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lapso) that become one-of-a-kind creations of the Brazilian studio.

Inspired by the shape of the archetypal lightbulb, Fetiche sculpts its illuminators to assume the same silhouette; however, the difference is the flattening of one side that allows the pieces to stand slanted on their own. Furthermore, the see-through material is coated with an [opaque skin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loops-lamp), achieved through the dipping of each object into a waxy rubber substance. This serves the purpose of a lampshade.

Afterwards, the electrical components and light source are fed in through the narrow neck of the shell to establish a truly unconventional composition in the Guarda Luz Lamp.
