Utilizing gold ion plating, the new G-SHOCK watch has a color scheme that's supposedly "meant to reflect the history of Japan." In order to add some rugged variance to the timepiece, G-SHOCK gives parts of the plating a hammered finish. The face of the watch is complemented with bright accents of electric blue, while its protective covering is bolted on with thick dark metal screws.
