'Grill Floss' works by being hooked onto the individual rods that are present on a BBQ grill in order to scrape off the charred bits that have been caked on after one or more cooking rounds. This will limit the level of completed cleanings you'll have to do and decrease the amount of carcinogens that are present on the cooking surface. The 'Grill Floss' [BBQ grill cleaning tool](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bbq-knife-set) is crafted from durable stainless steel and is outfitted with a long handle for getting every inch of the grill clean from front to back. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 8% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Grill Cleaning Tools:** The 'Grill Floss' is an example of a new trend in BBQ grill cleaning tools that offer innovative ways to achieve a thorough clean. - **Carcinogen-free Grill Cleanings:** The 'Grill Floss' addresses the growing concern of carcinogens on cooking surfaces by providing a tool that removes all charred bits. - **Durable Stainless Steel:** The use of durable stainless steel material in the 'Grill Floss' is a trend in grill cleaning tools that ensures longevity and effectiveness. ### Where This Applies - **Outdoor Cooking Equipment:** The 'Grill Floss' can disrupt the outdoor cooking equipment industry by providing a unique tool that enhances the grill cleaning experience. - **Kitchenware:** The trend of innovative grill cleaning tools, like the 'Grill Floss', presents new opportunities for the kitchenware industry to cater to BBQ enthusiasts. - **Food Safety:** The 'Grill Floss', with its focus on removing carcinogens, is an innovation in the food safety industry that can improve grilling hygiene. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimalist Pan-Cleaning Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pancleaning-tool.md) - [Flavor-Infused Grill Wipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grill-and-pan-wipes.md) - [Auto-Restringing Flossing Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qicobay-c1.md) - [3D-Printed Whole Mouth Flossers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blizzflosser.md) - [Compact Fan-Equipped BBQs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbecue-nx-smart-grill.md) - [Fully-Forged BBQ Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nomad-grills.md) - [Tooth Gap Cleaning Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ordo-denta-reach.md) - [Old-Fashioned Toolbox Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-blaze-charcoal-grill.md) - [Sleek Fume-Removing Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/instant-indoor-grill.md)
