# Wondrous Wanderlust Photography Photographer Griffin Lamb Captures Breathtaking Mountainous Scenes By Jordy E | Published 2014-12-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/griffin-lamb References: [mymodernmet](http://www.mymodernmet.com/profiles/blogs/griffin-lamb-photos?context=featured) & [griffinlamb.co](http://griffinlamb.co/) Seattle-based photographer Griffin Lamb has captured the [wanderlust beauty](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-within-the-detour) of the Pacific Northwest. Admittedly inspired by the landscapes of Washington, Lamb travels to places such as the North Cascades in order to capture [snow-covered mountain peaks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-cadree-perche) and chilly beds of water. Displayed in Lamb's portfolio are free flowing waterfalls, dark collections of rocks, [shimmering rays of light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch) and natural backdrops that appear as if entirely untouched by humanity. While most of the images are markedly barren, some feature a single figure standing solemnly in the shots. Although the topography is constantly changing in each picture, what remains the same throughout is a tangible sense of peace. The locations come across as untouched, providing optimal spaces for reflection, relaxation and calm. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 64% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Modern](https://www.trendhunter.com/modern) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Nature Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this trend include developing AI-powered cameras that capture and enhance the raw beauty of natural landscapes. - **Adventure Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this trend involve creating virtual reality experiences that allow people to explore stunning natural landscapes from the comfort of their homes. - **Environmental Conservation:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this trend include using Lamb's photography to raise awareness about the need for preserving and protecting these beautiful natural spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this industry include developing advanced drone technology that allows photographers to capture unique and breathtaking aerial shots. - **Travel and Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this industry involve creating eco-friendly travel solutions that allow travelers to explore and appreciate the natural beauty captured by Griffin Lamb. - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in this industry include incorporating Lamb's photographs into interior design concepts and products, creating visually stunning and calming spaces for people to relax in. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Travel-Friendly Location Scouting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/locationscout.md) - [Nature-Immersed Creative Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/french-creek-workhops-house.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Human Nature-Themed Art Galleries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sea-im-awake.md) - [Landscape-Inspired Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/great-white-north-collection.md) - [Artistic Lakeside Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ely-retreat.md) - [Chalk Streams Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/british-conceptual-landscape-photographer.md) - [Interactive Mountain Oracles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whispering-mountains.md) - [Custom New Tabs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unsplash-wanderer.md)
