The design is rather simple and has a metal base frame that holds up mesh boxes. Translucent volumes can also be altered and rotated into different arrangements depending on the user's preference. The set also comes with [colorful boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/center-center-storage) that can act as dividers or drawers depending on how much storage space or separation a user may need. The number of boxes can also vary from using all at once, to only a few. The unique modular design can even create distinct [bookcase-like storage solution](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbox-modular-shelving) if built upwards instead of like a desk. The most important feature however would be that the desk is easily modifiable, and can be used for a variety of purposes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Office Furniture:** Create innovative and adaptable workspace solutions with customizable grid tables. - **Flexible Storage Solutions:** Meet the growing demand for customizable and versatile storage options with modular grid tables. - **Personalized Workstations:** Cater to individual preferences and optimize productivity with adjustable grid tables. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Explore opportunities for producing modular grid tables to cater to the evolving needs of modern workspaces. - **Office Supplies and Equipment:** Provide a range of customizable grid tables as a part of office furniture offerings to meet the demand for adaptable workstations. - **Interior Design:** Incorporate modular grid tables into commercial and residential designs to offer flexible and personalized workspace solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Modular Working Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-working-desk.md) - [Modern Customizable Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-table-design.md) - [Multifuntional Modular Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-transformer-table.md) - [Dynamic Modular Office Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunon-furniture-mixcube.md) - [Customizable Storage Furniture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelved-modular-furniture.md) - [Customizable Power Lift Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyrmwood-modular-desk.md) - [Modern Modular Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firki.md) - [Modular Play-Friendly Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-concept.md) - [Adaptable Mobile Professional Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airy-office-desk.md)
