The Grid System is a desk that functions as interestingly as it looks. Aptly named, the design is essentially a three dimensional version of the a two dimensional grid system. Full of blocks and layers, the desk is made up of [modular parts that can be reconfigured](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gioco) into any number of ways to suit the needs and wants of the owner.

Designed by Yin Chang, a London-based product designer and [Royal College of Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phytosymbiosis) graduate, the Grid System was inspired by the work of legendary designers Josef Müller-Brockmann and Wim Crouwel. It is made up of a [base metal frame, mesh boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firki), and a series of multi-purpose accessories. The mesh boxes are available in three different sizes and are attached to the frame with aluminum rods.
