The Grenade Screwdriver Set is a unique screwdriver that can be [attached to your keyring](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mr-gadget-edrin) and is shaped like a hand grenade. The Grenade Screwdriver Set is colorfully designed, which I assume was done to prevent law enforcement officers from tackling innocent handymen in public places. The set comes with six different bits and can quickly and easily transform from a quirky item on your keychain to a functional tool. Despite the rise of the computer nerd and the decline of handymen, there is an increasing number of [portable screwdriver sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fusion-driver) and [multi-tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/eyeq-switchdisc) being made. Perhaps the age of the handyman is upon us once again, or perhaps computer geeks just need a portable screwdriver to open up their rigs on a moments notice -- it's more likely the latter. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 2% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Portable Screwdriver Sets:** The rise of portable screwdriver sets and multi-tools creates room for designing compact, affordable and versatile tool kits. - **Creative Shaped Tools:** The Grenade Screwdriver Set's unique shaping shows innovation opportunities in creating creatively-shaped, eccentric yet functional tools. - **Tool Kits Accessory Business:** An accessory business catering to tools kits such as packs, key rings or holsters are on a high demand due to the increasing number of users wanting portable screwdrivers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Manufacturing Industry:** Manufacturing companies can explore innovative materials and designs that promote tool kits' portability and versatility. - **Handyman Business:** Handymen can provide custom-made tool kits that reflect a customer's' style while improving their work efficiency. - **Tech Industry:** Tech companies can invest in designing tool kits catered to computer maintenance to meet the needs of the 'computer geek' population. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Titanium Magnetic Screwdrivers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magnetic-screwdriver.md) - [Cordless Screwdriver Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kingsdun-mini-electric-screwdriver.md) - [Titanium Pocket Screwdriver](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xs-screwdriver.md) - [Compact Spinning Screwdrivers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allinone-screwdriver.md) - [Titanium Maker Screwdrivers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bolt-action-screwdriver.md) - [Ultra-Compact Screwdriver Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hbt-471.md) - [All-in-One Screwdriver Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/screwdriverking.md) - [Metallic EDC Screwdriver Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m19-magnetic-bullet-driver.md) - [Ultimate Titanium EDC Multitools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/titanium-multifunctional-magnetic-screwdriver.md)
