Wanting to have a home he and his wife could uniquely call their own -- which is surprisingly difficult when you're an architect designing other homes because you tend to give away all your creative and interesting ideas -- Henry used his habit of collecting decor pieces for good; he based the interior of the whole house around stunning collections of architecturally designed chairs and enviable art collection. "I decided to look at all aspects of architecture that excited my development and to embrace them, rather than copy current fashions. It is a matter of developing your own style based on your love of architectural influences," says Henry about his green-house inspired house. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Greenhouse-inspired Architecture:** Opportunity for architects to design unique and environmentally-friendly homes inspired by the natural beauty of greenhouses. - **Collectible Decor:** Opportunity for interior designers and homeowners to create visually stunning spaces centered around curated collections of art and furniture. - **Personalized Architectural Style:** Opportunity for architects to develop their own unique style by embracing their favorite architectural influences rather than following current trends. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture:** Industry professionals can explore innovative designs and techniques for building greenhouses-inspired houses. - **Interior Design:** Designers and decorators can create visually appealing spaces by incorporating collectible decor items. - **Art and Furniture:** Artists and furniture designers can create pieces that cater to the growing demand for architecturally designed collectibles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Greenhouse-Topped Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-house-1.md) - [Lush Garden-Focused Melbourne Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardeners-house-1.md) - [Plant-Filled Latticed Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touching-eden-house.md) - [Garden-Focused Victorian Terrace House](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/helvetia.md) - [Vaulted Glass Roofed Greenhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-de-vidrio.md) - [Skylit Belgian Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/he-winter-garden.md) - [Window-Accented Garden Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/verdant-house.md) - [Lush Surroundings Glass Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-house-1.md) - [Contemporary Weatherized Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acute-house.md)
