Absolutely charming, the illustrations document the adventures of a [group of green beans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ticket-exchange). Illustrated by Jonatan Cantero, the 'Green Beans Project' was created using traditional [pencil and ink line art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farming-photographs) with finishing color touches via Photoshop. I can only hope that Cantero returns to this incredibly intricate project. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 26% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Illustration Revamp:** Opportunity to disrupt the illustration industry by incorporating new technology and methods, such as digital drawing and animation. - **Interactive Storytelling:** Opportunity to disrupt the publishing industry by creating immersive and interactive stories that engage readers in innovative ways. - **Art-inspired Merchandise:** Opportunity to disrupt the retail industry by collaborating with artists to create unique and limited-edition merchandise based on their illustrations or artwork. ### Where This Applies - **Illustration:** Disruptive innovation opportunities include exploring digital tools, animation, and new art styles in illustration. - **Publishing:** Disruptive innovation opportunities include integrating interactive elements and multimedia features into traditional book formats to enhance reader engagement. - **Retail:** Disruptive innovation opportunities include partnering with artists to create exclusive merchandise that appeals to art enthusiasts and collectors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful Coffee Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunday-coffee-project.md) - [Photosensitive Book Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-outside-book.md) - [Bean-Shaped Vibrant Chalks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bean-chalk.md) - [Upcycled Green Beans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canned-green-beans.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vegetment-vegetable-cultivator.md) - [Giant Barrel Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bushs-beans-national-park-foundation.md) - [Experimental Pottery Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gourd-project.md) - [Pasta Sauce Characters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mr-ridiculously-good.md) - [Gourmet Canned Beans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heyday-canning-co.md)
