Sam’s alluringly [clean and understandable illustrations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cheatsheet-ai) are directly based off of Luhrmann’s character designs and costumes so they are easily recognizable to someone watching the film. With minimal text, bright green arrows, one-worded definitions to how each character is inter-connected and Jay Gatsby at the center of it all, you won’t have any problem figuring out who’s related, who’s chasing who and who was murdered by whom. Sam even amusingly includes Daisy’s famous yellow convertible as a character based on its iconic standing and significant role in the plot. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Character Infographics:** Creating visual aids such as character maps and infographics can help make complex stories or concepts more understandable and accessible. - **Movie Adaptation Guides:** Designing customized guides or maps for movie adaptations can enhance the viewing experience and help viewers better understand the characters and plot. - **Visual Storytelling:** Using illustrations and graphics to convey complex information and narratives can be an effective and engaging way to communicate with audiences. ### Who This Affects Most - **Graphic Design:** Graphic designers can create visually appealing and informative infographics and maps for various purposes, including character guides for movies. - **Film Industry:** Movie adaptations can benefit from the creation of customized guides and maps to enhance viewer understanding and appreciation of the characters and storyline. - **Digital Media:** Using visual storytelling techniques, such as character infographics, in digital media platforms can provide engaging and easy-to-understand content for users. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creative Text-to-Infographic Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infographic-tools.md) - [Cinematic Exploration Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cinema-roadmap.md) - [Archetypal Fashion Debuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-famiglia-collection.md) - [Data Storytelling Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphy.md) - [Interactive Research Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/papers-with-graph.md) - [AI Data-Interpreted Graphics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-data.md) - [Personality Insights Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mbti-characters.md) - [Toronto Social Good Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-gatsby-gala.md) - [Cartoon Trivia Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cartoon-quiz.md)
