# Toys Made of Grass The Muwi Lawnmower Makes Lawn Frisbees By TechnoGadget | Published 2008-09-05 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/great-balls-of-grass-do-not-smoke-it References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2008/08/20/grass-balls-no-you-cannot-smoke-it/) Grass cutting is a boring and monotonous chore, but [mowing the lawn](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-lawn-care) can actually be fun. The Muwi concept lawnmower is an [electronic lawnmower](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unicut-series) that compresses lawn clippings into [grass balls and disks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-lawn-care1), perfect for playing with. If you're worried about grass stains, these lawn balls and disks also make great compost fertilizer. The concept of the mower is similar to a sheep; as it cuts the lawn, it stores the grass in its compartments. As it fills with grass, the Muwi compresses the greenery, eliminating the need to gather residual clippings after mowing. The lawn is turned into organic toys that children and adults can play with. Alternatively, it can be turned into a seating pad, but I think a game of grass Frisbee sounds much more fun! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Eco Toys:** The concept of grass toys creates an innovative opportunity for eco-friendly toys that can be made from a local resource. - **Circular Economy:** Compressed grass from the lawnmower represents a new opportunity to create a circular economy where natural resources can be turned into usable commodities. - **Smart Composting:** The Muwi lawnmower's ability to turn grass into organic toys or compost fertilizer represents an opportunity to develop new, smart composting solutions that are not only functional but fun. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Toy Industry:** The production of eco-friendly toys made of grass could revolutionize the toy industry, providing a sustainable option for consumers. - **Landscaping Industry:** The Muwi lawnmower presents a unique opportunity to innovate and grow the landscaping industry with a new, fun experience and a more efficient way to handle lawn clippings. - **Agriculture Industry:** The development of smart composting solutions like the Muwi lawnmower represents an opportunity to improve sustainable farming practices and increase crop yields through the use of organic compost. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Auto-Mulching Robotic Lawnmowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airseekers-tron-360-ai-vision-robotic-mower.md) - [Automated Lawn Care Technologies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automated-lawn-care-technology.md) - [Robotic AI-Powered Lawnmowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-cyber-mower.md) - [Auto-Mapping Robotic Reel Mowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/r1.md) - [Game-Integrated Robotic Lawn Mowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/automower-nera.md) - [High-Power Five-Blade Robot Mowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neomow-x-3d.md) - [Robotic Five-Camera Lawnmowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-robotic-lawn-mower.md) - [Intelligent Robot Lawn Mowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luba-lawn-mowers.md) - [Low-Noise Robotic Lawnmowers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/husqvarna-automower-415x.md)
