Sugar and Cloth lays out the directions as to what is needed for this [DIY project](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-crystal-floral-kits), but overall everything is quite basic. With a bit of superglue and faux grass materials, the stones can be put together in no time. Moreover, you don't need to have a huge space to put the grass stones, as only a few are needed to turn a gray-looking area into something with a bit more color. The best part is that no maintenance is required in terms of cutting grass weekly once the project is complete ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 66% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [DIY](https://www.trendhunter.com/diy) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **DIY Faux Grass Stones:** A trend in urban areas to create small, low-maintenance green spaces using faux grass stones. - **Lightening Up Urban Backyards:** A trend of transforming small, dull urban backyards into vibrant spaces with faux grass stones. - **No-maintenance Green Solutions:** A trend of using faux grass stones to add greenery to urban areas without the need for ongoing maintenance. ### Where This Applies - **Landscaping:** The landscaping industry can embrace the trend by offering DIY kits and installation services for faux grass stones. - **Home Improvement:** The home improvement industry can provide supplies and tools for creating DIY faux grass stones. - **Artificial Turf:** The artificial turf industry can capitalize on the trend by creating innovative faux grass materials specifically designed for DIY projects like faux grass stones. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Inspired Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-power-moss-wall-art.md) - [Backyard Design Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yard-ai.md) - [Urban Roofscape Projects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/central-yards.md) - [Bright Textural Device Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touch-grass-collection.md) - [Alphabet DIY Gardening Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/succulent-letter-diy-kit.md) - [Artsy Hanging Plants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-air-plant-mobile.md) - [Building Block Gardening Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-planterior.md) - [DIY Terrarium Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crackyourown-geode-crystal-terrariums.md) - [Sprouting Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-chair-on-grass.md)
