Jason Hodges has created an even more special version of this experience by way of a DIY grass bed. The [landscape gardener](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-mcgee) for the Australian TV show Better Homes & Gardens, it's clear his job hinges on cleverness and creativity. Since some people's yards are not as green as one would expect, Hodges shows that could remedied fairly easily. He created the grass bed out of wood, complete with a [planter headboard](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/day-bed-installation). Topped with cushions, the grass bed is not only great to look at, but inviting to lay in. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 80% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **DIY Grass Beds:** Opportunity to innovate in the DIY space by creating innovative and customizable grass beds for summer relaxation. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Landscaping:** Potential for disruptive innovation in the landscaping industry by introducing DIY grass beds as a popular feature for outdoor spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wooden Structural Outdoor Bedes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hut-lounge-bed.md) - [Sprouting Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-chair-on-grass.md) - [Squishy Clay-Made Daybeds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-soil-daybed.md) - [Ergonomic Latticed Sofa Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gardiners-sofa.md) - [Beachside Modern Daybed Setups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/contour-daybed.md) - [Living Plant DIY Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-hideaway.md) - [Elegant Exterior Lounge Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounge-bed.md) - [Living Landscape Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hedge-and-arbour-house.md) - [Plant-Based Guesthouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rooted-potential.md)
