Urbane Jungle in GQ UK July 2011 is an editorial that makes me think of the Indiana Jones movie franchise. Model Jacey Elthalion hits the jungle in tan and camel-colored menswear from the likes of Boss Orange, Emporio Armani and Timberland.
Photographer Max Vadukul, stylist Jo Levin and production assistant Philippa Jeffrey combined their creative talents for a pictorial that makes exotic travel look quite fashionable. Whether he's navigating a river, traversing through dense brush or taking a brief rest atop exposed tree roots, XX maintains a sophisticated, gentlemanly look that's always in control.
Thus far in 2011, we've seen a move away from the metrosexual and gender-bending fashion of 2010 within menswear in favor of a more rugged, "manly man" aesthetic. The Urbane Jungle in GQ UK July 2011 is no exception.
