Powder-faced models with deep red lips and disheveled hairdos show off the clothing in creatively contorted poses. Check out the shot with the red shoes, the poor girl’s legs are so twisted they’re facing completely backwards. The white gown with the blood red hem looks as if it could have stepped right out of a religious Renaissance work of art.
