# Interconnected Egg-Shaped Cameras The Gordon Tiemstra 'Apollon' Device Will Always Be Kept Handy By Senduran Bhakthakumaran | Published 2012-03-29 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gordon-tiemstra-apollon1 References: [notcot.org](http://www.notcot.org/post/47041/) & [gordontiemstra.nl](http://www.gordontiemstra.nl/?page=work&work=apollon) Securing a [camera that isn't bulky](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/insta360-x4-air) but still performs up to current (high) standards in development and quality is like trying to find a needle in a haystack; however, I've done the prickly work and found the Gordon Tiemstra 'Apollon' camera. This camera is built for fun-loving photographers who love to spend more time editing pictures than they do taking them. It is a device built for [creative snappers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nonnas-cam). The camera can be connected with more of its kind (perfect if all your friends have them too) so that a single event can be photographed and compiled digitally from [different perspectives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amkov-f3b). This allows making pictures that have depth and stray away from a regular 2-D plane. The Gordon Tiemstra Apollon is built to take pictures in a different way so that the experiences of photography can open up to more opportunities. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Interconnected Cameras:** Opportunity for camera makers to explore developing interconnected cameras that can capture a single event from multiple perspectives. - **Compact High-performing Cameras:** Opportunity for camera makers to explore developing compact cameras that perform at high-quality standards. - **Creative Photography Devices:** Opportunity for camera makers to explore developing devices that encourage and enable creative photography experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Camera Manufacturing:** Camera manufacturers can take advantage of the opportunity to develop interconnected cameras and compact high-performing cameras to appeal to photography enthusiasts. - **Photography Editing Software:** Photography editing software companies can explore developing software that supports the digital compilation of pictures from different perspectives, to align with the trend of interconnected cameras. - **Social Media Platforms:** Social media platforms can explore developing features that support the sharing of multi-dimensional pictures to align with the trend of interconnected cameras and creative photography devices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Pebble-Shaped Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ditto-camera-concept.md) - [Quad-Lens GIF Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-3d-camera.md) - [Foldable Structural Security Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/psync-genie-s.md) - [Easily Maneuvered Outdoor Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duo-camera.md) - [Modular Point-and-Shoot Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-camera.md) - [Multi-Lens Capture Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-walker-multi-cam.md) - [Pebble-Shaped Effortless Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyu.md) - [Translucent Pocket Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clearcam.md) - [Industrial Interchangeable Lens Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interchangeable-lens-cameras.md)
