The Gopher Hole in Alberta, Canada is one such place, and is not made for those who dislike rodents. Using only Gophers, the Gopher Hole puts taxidermy rodents in full scenes, including period costumes, sets and with thought bubbles to tell what they’re saying. Fortunately, if you can’t make it to The Gopher Hole, they have a pretty complete collection of images on their site so you can feel like you’re there. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 10% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Niche Taxidermy Displays:** Creating displays of unique animals or with unique themes can attract visitors to taxidermy museums or establishments. - **Interactive Taxidermy Displays:** Adding interactive elements like sound effects or touchscreens to taxidermy displays can enhance visitor experience. - **Modernized Taxidermy Techniques:** Incorporating modern techniques such as 3D printing or augmented reality into taxidermy can attract a younger demographic of visitors. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Museum and Exhibition Industry:** Taxidermy displays can attract a niche audience and add unique elements to museum exhibitions. - **Tourism Industry:** Specialized taxidermy displays can attract tourists looking for unique attractions and experiences. - **Entertainment Industry:** Taxidermy displays can be used as set pieces for TV shows or movies, or as interactive displays in themed entertainment venues. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Canadian Animal-Themed Kitchenware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/our-animals-maple-syrup-jar.md) - [Futuristic Museum Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unnatural-history-museum-of-singapore.md) - [Unique Hybrid Mystery Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/animal-x-vegetable-gachapon.md) - [Felt-Made Novelty Shops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bourdon-street-chippy.md) - [Charming Creepy Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deddy-bears.md) - [Canadiana-Themed Bars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grizzly-bar.md) - [Renovated Zoology Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grant-museum-of-zoology.md) - [Tiny Pet Habitat Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniverse-make-it-mini-animals.md) - [Parody-Themed Pinball Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinball-game.md)
