Google Play purchase requests can now be sent by children to their parents or guardians as a way to keep them connected to what their child is purchasing. The feature offers administrators with a way to restrict purchasing power, but not completely eliminate it to keep kids connected to their favorite apps and features. The feature works by being enabled and having children request access from their family manager, and works for paid apps as well as in-app purchases.

The Google Play purchase requests feature is great for keeping parents and guardians alike abreast on what their child is purchasing, and could also be used for management purposes. Administrators could provide a certain threshold as part of a child's allowance.
