A new [Google](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/google-ai-magic-editor) Photos feature will allow users to manually tag faces the app does not recognize. The idea to add the new feature was a result of a [Twitter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twitter-4) interaction in which a company representative asked what new features users would like to see added to the platform. Enough users indicated that adding a manual tagging feature would address any issues that may arise due to some faces not being picked up. Following the interaction, Google Photos says it intends to add the [manual face tagging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/image-tagger) in the future.

It is not clear when the new Google Photos feature will roll out to the app or if Google Photos will incorporate other suggested features.
