# Whimsical Website Offices The Google Offices in London Boast an Imaginative Design Aesthetic By Jana Pijak | Published 2015-05-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/google-offices References: [fubiz.net](http://www.fubiz.net/2015/05/19/new-google-office-in-london/?utm_source=feedly&utm_medium=webfeeds) & [penson.co](http://www.penson.co/) The [Google](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mountain-view) offices in London boast a whimsical design that will appeal to the senses and the imagination. Conceived by PENSON's creative team, this workspace features patriotic Union Jack signage along with a myriad of hidden spaces that are displayed in varying hues. While the interior's compact workspace booths resemble the private dining quarters of a swanky restaurant, its outdoor picnic table set-up is much more casual and eco-themed. In addition to these features, the Google offices in London also include a comfy brainstorm room equipped with cushioned seats and plush carpeting along with a library lounge space that draws inspiration from the MOD interior decor aesthetic of the 60s. Overall, the workspace encourages imagination and leaves no one surprised of the innovation that is consistently emerging from inside of it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Whimsical Office Design:** Creating workspaces with imaginative and playful designs can enhance employee creativity and productivity. - **Hidden and Multi-functional Spaces:** Incorporating hidden spaces with diverse functionalities can optimize the use of office real estate and provide unique work environments. - **Eco-themed Work Environments:** Designing office spaces that embrace eco-friendly elements can promote sustainability and align with environmentally-conscious values. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Interior design firms can explore innovative concepts and techniques to create whimsical and functional office spaces. - **Office Furniture and Decor:** Companies specializing in office furniture and decor can develop unique and customizable products that cater to the increasing demand for imaginative office designs. - **Eco-friendly Solutions:** Providers of eco-friendly building materials and solutions can capitalize on the trend towards creating eco-themed work environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [London-Inspired Vibrant Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/area-office.md) - [Whimsical Bright Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/publicis-group.md) - [Vibrant Multi-Level Office Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gensler.md) - [Bright Colorful Workshop Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office-sm.md) - [Whimsical Family Home Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2lg-studio.md) - [Colorful Creative Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podimo-office.md) - [Contrasting Workspace Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/workspace-interior.md) - [Modern Heritage Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/norton-folgate-offices.md) - [Bespoke Furnished Industrial Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mother-london-office.md)
