Architectural firm 'Nelson' designed the new [Google](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mountain-view) office in Boston, Massachusetts in a way that makes reference to some of the city's landmarks.

Since Google is known for the [playful environments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podimo-office) it provides its employees with, it is difficult to imagine how people are able to get work done in offices that look like adult playgrounds. The Google office in Boston is no different, with plenty of lounges and relaxing work areas areas that offer bunk beds, mini putting and photo booths. The office space has a section that references Boston's transportation system and has a cafe inspired by the [Boston Public Garden](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/timberland-x-new-era-mlb).

This office manages to maintain the creative environment that Google employees are given the opportunity to work, relax and interact in -- in a way that remains unique to the region it is placed in.
