Global healthcare company Abbott has announced a multi-year partnership with Google Health. This venture integrates continuous glucose monitoring data from the former's over-the-counter Lingo biowearable with the latter's artificial intelligence and consumer health platforms. This move creates a unified system designed to deliver personalized metabolic insights and coaching to users who are not on insulin.

The Abbott x Google Health collaboration moves beyond isolated glucose readings by displaying Lingo data alongside other health metrics such as activity, sleep, and nutrition within the Google Health app, while the Google Health Coach utilizes these comprehensive inputs to generate tailored recommendations for building sustainable habits related to diet, exercise, and recovery.

A significant component of this initiative includes one of the largest real-world metabolic health studies to date, which will collect continuous glucose, wearable, survey, and laboratory data to uncover deeper connections between daily behaviors and metabolic function.
