Have no fear, cloakscan is here! What this nifty device does, it [records a video](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trigo-vision) of you as you submit your item, and gives you a [barcode ticket](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rfid-locker-system). Not only does it do that, but the staff can now actually enter and see what they have in the cloakroom, everything is computerized, saving time in the process. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Virtual Coat Check:** The Cloakscan system creating ease for consumers in retrieving items and for venue staff in automating the process. - **Video Recording Systems:** Innovations in video recording systems enabling new possibilities in retail and service industries like virtual styling or personal shopping. - **Smart Inventory Management Systems:** The computerization of inventory management resulting in cost savings and efficient processes in various industries. ### Who This Affects Most - **Nightlife and Hospitality:** Providing consumers with a valuable service while improving staff efficiency in nightlife and hospitality venues. - **Retail:** Utilizing video recording systems as a tool for personalized shopping experiences, virtual try-ons, and other applications for retailers. - **Logistics and Inventory Management:** Revolutionizing inventory management processes and reducing costs for logistics companies and businesses with large inventories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Connected Curated Wardrobe Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lookandme-closet.md) - [Pocket-Sized Safety Locks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gaze.md) - [Luggage Tracking Safety Technologies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lost-luggage-tracker.md) - [Connected Smart Home Closets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oloo-smart-wardrobe.md) - [Circular Concierge Kiosks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/screen-concierge.md) - [Virtual Wardrobe Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clobber-ai.md) - [Closet-Equipped Luggage Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flightable-closet.md) - [Tripod-Like Garment Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-coat-rack.md) - [AI-Powered Wardrobe Management Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/closetiq.md)
