Though the app has good intentions -- the prevention of sexual violence -- it can lead to a whole bunch of awkwardness. Yet, that's exactly what this app does, allowing your partner to give you the virtual go-ahead by affirming they are "Good2Go." After clicking Good2Go, the app asks a series of follow-up questions about your sobriety. Users who range from sober to intoxicated are then asked to verify their phone number; users who choose the "[wasted](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drunk-mode-locker)" option are considered too inebriated to give meaningful consent.

While this app may have a few kinks to work out when it comes to keeping the moment alive, it does continue an important conversation we've been having about consent.
