# Minimalist Folded Seating The GOOD Chair by Benedini Associati is a Solid Piece of Furniture By Meghan Young | Published 2011-04-08 | Updated 2011-04-10 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/good-chair References: [contemporist](http://www.contemporist.com/2011/04/08/the-good-chair-by-benedini-associati-for-enrico-pellizzoni/) & [benedinipartners.it](http://benedinipartners.it/) Sometimes it's not about how extravagant or eccentric you can get with your home decor; instead, it's about introducing classic pieces into your living space that blend in rather than accent your existing decor, as the GOOD Chair would do. This [simple leather seating option](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ff-chair-collection) is unobtrusive, and its unassuming presence complements subtly rather than loudly. Designed by Benedini Associati for the Italian manufacturer Enrico Pellizzoni, the GOOD Chair is made out of molded hard leather. It retains its shape thanks to an internal plastic support. The overall seat support is made out of aluminium, while the legs can be finished in chrome, varnished steel, Canaletto walnut or durmast. In general, the GOOD Chair is a [solid piece of furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dopio), despite its delicate appearance. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 44% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore ways to create minimalist furniture designs that blend in with existing decor. - **Unobtrusive Seating:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop seating options that have an unassuming presence and subtly complement the surrounding environment. - **Elegant Simplicity:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design furniture pieces that are simple yet elegant, offering a timeless aesthetic for modern homes. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate advanced materials and manufacturing techniques to create minimalist furniture with enhanced functionality and durability. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporate unobtrusive and versatile seating options into interior design concepts that prioritize functionality and aesthetic harmony. - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a range of elegant, simple home decor pieces that seamlessly blend in with a variety of interior styles and color schemes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Leather-Accented Industrial Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/l1-chair-from-object-leuci.md) - [Ultra-Minimal Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sedeo-chair.md) - [Structurally Complex Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-arch-chair.md) - [Aesthetically Pleasing Minimalist Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-chairs.md) - [Practical Folding Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patan-chair.md) - [Slick Eco-Conscious Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecoconscious-chair-design.md) - [Minimal Upholstered Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sacha-chair.md) - [Wooden Extended Backrest Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bice-chair.md) - [Modern Chair Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bow-chair.md)
