# Wall-Mounted Cat Furniture The Goldtatze Collection Creates Complex Jungle Gyms for Pets By Meghan Young | Published 2014-01-15 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/goldtatze-collection References: [hauspanther](http://www.hauspanther.com/2014/01/09/amazing-german-designed-cat-climbing-furniture/) & [goldtatze.de](http://www.goldtatze.de/) Finding not only [quality furniture for cats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neko-yama) but ones that work with existing human spaces can be quite the chore, yet the Goldtatze Collection takes the guesswork right out of the equation. Although clearly made for cats, the pieces that make up the Goldtatze Collection are creative and chic enough that it enhances the room they are placed in rather than detracting from it. From [wall-mounted platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plus-collection-1) to [ceiling-secured wooden walkways](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/entwined-objects), the Goldtatze Collection may turn a home into a pet-friendly jungle gym, but it is one that will entertain and delight the owners just as much as it does their cats. Designed by Stefan Hofmann, the Goldtatze Collection was born after he created these pieces for his own cat, Mowgli. Since then, he has expanded the line. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.9/10 - Popularity: 100% | Activity: 100% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Pet-friendly Furniture:** Opportunity for designers to create furniture that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing for pets and their owners. - **Wall-mounted Design:** Innovative wall-mounted solutions for pets that optimize space and enhance room decor. - **Integrating Playfulness and Function:** The incorporation of creative and playful elements in pet furniture that add value to the overall design. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can explore new possibilities in creating pet-friendly furniture that seamlessly integrates with existing home decor. - **Pet Industry:** Opportunity for pet product manufacturers to develop wall-mounted solutions and complex jungle gyms that cater to cats and pet owners. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can offer innovative solutions for incorporating pet-friendly furniture into home design, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Pet-Catered Sleek Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/papuk.md) - [Contemporary Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Cat-Furniture-1.md) - [Cityscape-Like Cat Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mocats.md) - [Timber Sun-Inspired Pet Perches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/myzoo-solar.md) - [Cat-Friendly Seat Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jingcyuan-tang.md) - [Customizable Feline Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meow-modular-cat-furniture.md) - [Modular Magnetic Cat Walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nyanpeki.md) - [Pyramidal Feline Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-cat-furniture.md) - [Hybrid Feline-Friendly Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-cat-tower.md)
