'GoGoGrandparent' is a service that aims to make connectivity -- and its attendant mobility -- accessible for the elderly. Considering the incessantly accelerating pace of technological advancements, many seniors have been understandably slow to adapt and are thus content with old-fashioned flip phones or no cell phone at all. The new service is specific to ordering rides on [Uber](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uber-senior-accounts), and it allows anyone without a smartphone, but especially seniors, to use the [ridesharing app](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uber-and-turo) without actually needing to navigate the interface.

The service essentially turns Uber into a phone-ordering system: seniors call in to GoGoGrandparent and provide their credit card and home address which GoGoGrandparent uses to set up an Uber account. Then, any time the user calls back, they can go through an automated call center to order their ride. Though GoGoGrandparent charges a small fee for the service (an average of $2.50 extra per ride,) the benefits of freedom of mobility trump that payment for many seniors.
