GoCompare, a comparison shopping website for car insurance, recently took a shot at imagining the [future of car design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jaguar-type-00). But rather than looking to current car designers for their ideas about the future, the site took a more proactive approach, enlisting a group of kids to draw up their ideas for how cars might look one day — after all, it's kids like them who'll actually be responsible for cars down the road.

Though of course the campaign is somewhat facetious, GoCompare took the [children's designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-artists-design-contest) seriously. The company used a [professional illustrator](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ecollection) to create slick images of each of the designs, and the page featuring the campaign includes side-by-side comparisons of the children's original drawings (with notes about functionality) and the artist renderings.
