Each gnome is 10 inches tall and is made entirely by hand in Berlin and sell for $94 apiece. While [zombie garden gnomes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyber-zombie) are nothing new, Grumble's design is notable for its incredible attention to detail. His GnomeZ is actually horrifying as opposed to [cute and jolly](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/labubu). The blood on the beard and the rips in its coat are especially awesome. Zombies have seen a surge in popularity, appearing in everything from movies to comic books and TV shows. Zombie garden gnomes like Grumble's GnomeZ are becoming more and more common on lawns, although it's doubtful that they will overtake traditional garden gnomes in terms of popularity and visibility. Something tells me that homeowners associations around the world won't take kindly to zombiefied lawn ornaments. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Zombie Garden Gnomes:** There is a growing trend of zombiefied garden gnomes, with intricate and detailed designs. - **Popularity of Zombies:** Zombies have gained popularity across various media, from movies to TV shows, creating opportunities for innovative zombie-themed products. - **Horror-inspired Lawn Decor:** There is a rising trend in horror-inspired lawn ornaments like Todd Grumble's GnomeZ, which offer a unique and unsettling alternative to traditional garden decor. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Art and Sculpture:** The art and sculpture industry can explore opportunities to create unique and creative zombiefied garden gnomes like the GnomeZ. - **Home Decor:** Home decor industry can capitalize on the popularity of zombies by offering a range of horror-inspired lawn ornaments and decorations. - **Entertainment Merchandise:** The entertainment merchandise industry can venture into producing zombie-themed products including garden gnomes, targeting fans of zombie movies and TV shows. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Fashionable Zombie Dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zombaes-critter-chaos.md) - [Undead Easter Treats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sugar-plum-chocolate-zombie-bunny.md) - [Charming Creepy Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deddy-bears.md) - [Spooky Life-Size Animatronics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beetlejuice-character.md) - [Halloween-Ready Animatronic Line-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halloween-animatronics.md) - [Creepy Severed Hand Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wednesday-thing.md) - [Mythical Creature Garden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elf-welcome-solar-light.md) - [Grotesque Halloween Pizzas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halloween-pizza-campaign.md) - [Gruesome Horror Film Soaps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blood-bubbles-soap.md)
