Made for children, it gives the classic indoor shelter a modern update that is at one practical and magical. While these glow-in-the-dark forts will allow imaginations to soar even higher, parents won't have to worry about accidentally bumping into one if left standing after bedtime. Designed by Everest, the glow-in-the-dark forts essentially provides a [sturdy framework](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/conqueror-inflatable) that emits a soft glow. Once put together, kids can cover it with traditional sheets to shut out the world. No flashlights will be necessary after that. The Crazy Forts take on an [igloo shape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heimplanet-cave-xl) that make it easy to see where the door is. Made up of rods and connectors, the glow-in-the-dark forts are easy to assemble. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.8/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 13% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Glow-in-the-dark Playtime:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop glow-in-the-dark play structures for outdoor entertainment venues to provide a unique and enchanting experience for children and families. - **Modernized Forts for Kids:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create updated versions of indoor forts that incorporate technology, such as interactive projections or augmented reality, to enhance imaginative play. - **Practical Nighttime Shelters:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design portable and easy-to-assemble nighttime shelters for camping or emergency situations that feature glow-in-the-dark elements for improved visibility. ### Where This Applies - **Children's Toys:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce glow-in-the-dark toys and playsets that encourage creative play and imagination. - **Outdoor Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Innovate lighting solutions for outdoor venues that create captivating and immersive experiences through the use of glow-in-the-dark materials. - **Camping and Emergency Gear:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop glow-in-the-dark tents and shelters with advanced features for improved safety and convenience during nighttime outdoor activities or emergency situations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tent‑Filled Daycare Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deya-day-care.md) - [Inflatable Multi-Story Tent Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-fort.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Marshmallow Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jetpuffeds.md) - [Buildable Paper Playsets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/castle-playset.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glow-in-the-dark-water-bottle.md) - [Glow-in-the-Dark Dog Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-dog-glow.md) - [Rechargeable Multicolored Dinosaur Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/globe-electric.md) - [Textile Igloo Bedrooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takk.md) - [Futuristic Glowing Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joya-1.md)
