In line with Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG initiative, the Global Wristband Project [sells wristbands to raise awareness](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hats-for-hope-movement) and support HIV/AIDS prevention programs in South Africa.

Backed by yogi Christina Sabatini, the Global Wristband Project is a fundraiser that sells hippie-esque anklets and bracelets made from [recycled materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-tote-of-hope). The method used to make the wristbands is a weaving process called saori. Check out the gallery to look at the various colorful styles of these bracelets for a good cause.
