From September 20th until September 27th, the Global Climate Strike events transpired in major cities around the world.
"From Jakarta to New York, Karachi to Amman, Berlin to Kampala, Istanbul to Québec, Guadalajara to Asunción," the strike gathered a record number of people who took to the streets to demand political, social and economic activity, with regard to the state of the environment.
The Global Climate Strike events saw incredible engagement from youth, suggesting that Millennials and Gen Z are willing to spend more time, advocating for sustainability and their beliefs. The initiative does not end with the strike as the organizers boast a newsletter with informations about actions one can take on the local level.
