# Opulent Glass Yachts This Luxurious Glass Yacht Offers Stunning, Expansive Views of the Water By Rahul Kalvapalle | Published 2014-04-10 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-yacht References: [designboom](http://www.designboom.com/design/lujac-desautel-glass-luxury-yacht-float-platform-04-07-2014/) & [lujacdesautel](http://www.lujacdesautel.com/) Architect Lujac Desautel conceived this highly [luxurious and indulgent design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/custombuilt-yacht) for a [floating glass yacht](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beyond-horizons). The yacht will be built on a floating platform. The design is far from traditional in that Desautel envisions stacking sections of the yacht on top of each other to create a floating version of a skyscraper. Internal spaces in the yacht are arranged in such a way that views from every section of the yacht are vast and expansive, allowing everyone on the yacht -- from guests to crew -- to enjoy splendid views of the water. The stairs leading into the glass yacht are lit with a soft, ethereal glow to signify a warm arrival into the yacht's luxurious. Once guests enter the second level of the yacht, they will be presented with a stunning 360-degree view of the ocean.
