Israeli architect Haim Dotan designed this recently opened and imposing glass walkway that stretches across China's Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie.

Made out of plexiglass less than an inch thick, this [glass suspension bridge](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/three-waves-footbridge) is located in China’s Shiniuzhai National Geological Park in the Hunan Province, and stretches 900 feet across a magnificent canyon view that sits at a vertigo-inducing 600 feet below. Recently opened to tourists, the glass walkway that rests between the two cliff faces reportedly even sways slightly in the wind.

Originally a [wooden walkway](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fw-ji-covered-bridge-on-aqueduct) with glass inserts, this newly updated design has become a popular test of courage due to its imposing view and impressive scale. The transparent walkway is reportedly capable of supporting approximately 800 visitors at a time, and plans are even being made to make the bridge the world's highest bungee jump as well.
