The glass tank allows one to pour an [entire bottle of red wine](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-stopper-1) into the [balloon-shaped cup](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-glass-bottles), so you never have to refill your glass. Created by Kouichi Okamoto, this aesthetically pleasing [wine glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sommelier-pro-collection) makes a great addition to any wine curator's cabinet. The device consists of a bulb-shaped container with the drinking glass below. When the amount in the drinking glass decreases, a constant amount is poured from the tank into the glass. Kouichi Okamoto says, "The wine will never overflow because of the balance between air pressure and water pressure." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.1/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Aerating Wine Glasses:** The Glass Tank Wine Glass offers a unique aerating feature that enhances the drinking experience of red wine. - **Refill-free Wine Glasses:** The balloon-shaped design of the Glass Tank Wine Glass allows for pouring an entire bottle of red wine without the need for refills. - **Aesthetically Pleasing Wine Glasses:** The Glass Tank Wine Glass is not only functional but also visually appealing, making it a great addition to any wine curator's collection. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Wine Accessories:** The aerating feature of the Glass Tank Wine Glass presents an opportunity for innovation in the wine accessories industry. - **Glassware Manufacturing:** The unique design of the refill-free wine glass opens up possibilities for disruptive innovation in the glassware manufacturing sector. - **Luxury Home Goods:** The aesthetically pleasing Glass Tank Wine Glass caters to the luxury home goods market, offering potential for disruptive innovation in this industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Extra-Large Wine Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xxl-wine.md) - [Perfect-Pour Beer Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/perfect-3way-glass.md) - [Libation-Cooling Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diamas.md) - [Wine-Preserving Wands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ullo-uno-wine-purifying-wands.md) - [Stackable Chalice Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cali.md) - [Wine-Catered Vibrant Artful Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wine-table.md) - [Stackable Minimalist Glassware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aeris-doublewalled-glassware.md) - [Captivating Tonal Drinking Glassware](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/podio-cup.md) - [Miniature Wine Glasses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniature-wine-glass.md)
