# Modular Geometric Honey Jars Maks Arbuzov's Glass Honey Jar Designs Fit Beautifully Together By Laura McQuarrie | Published 2013-11-14 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-honey-jar References: [lovelypackage](http://lovelypackage.com/hexagon-honey/) & [behance.net](http://www.behance.net/gallery/Honey-Concept/11750165) The hexagon is an extremely popular shape for a glass honey jar design, since it is representative of the honey's origins from a beehive. This shape can be interpreted in countless ways, but Maks Arbuzov's design is truly unique in that each jar is made to interlock with one another, creating a larger system of hexagonal shapes. The glass honey jar is shaped like a gigantic hexagon, with a protruding cork stopper on its top. This might seem like it would inhibit the jars from stacking easily, but the three bottom sides of the jar has spaces for the cap to fit perfectly inside. This clever design makes each individual hexagonal honey jar interesting by itself, as well as in a group, which is amazing for display purposes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 55% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Modular Honey Jar System:** The trend towards modular honey jars creates opportunities for packaging and product design innovation. - **Hexagonal Packaging Design:** The trend towards hexagonal packaging design opens up opportunities for unique and interesting product displays. - **Interlocking Jar Designs:** The trend towards interlocking jar designs provides opportunities for more efficient and space-saving product storage solutions. ### Who This Affects Most - **Packaging Industry:** The modular honey jar system trend presents disruption opportunities for packaging companies to create innovative and space-saving packaging solutions. - **Product Design Industry:** The hexagonal packaging design trend creates opportunities for designers to come up with interesting and unique product displays for a variety of products. - **Storage Solutions Industry:** The interlocking jar designs trend provides an opportunity for storage solutions companies to create space-saving jar storage systems that are easy to stack and store. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Milled Three-Dimensional Puzzle Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-bodies.md) - [Honeybee-Themed Fragrance Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alvari-collection.md) - [Urban pollinator architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/host.md) - [Interchangeable Component Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-modular-bottle.md) - [Stackable Home Fragrances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-room-fragrance.md) - [Multifunctional Glass Food Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glass-food-container.md) - [Hot Honey Decanters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dedrizzler.md) - [Curved Stacked Wooden Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/box-set.md) - [Hexagonal Ceiling Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airhive.md)
