Designed by studio ArchiiWorkshop for a [mountainside campsite](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/altihut) in Yang-Pyeong, South Korea, the Glamping Tents come in a donut or worm-like shape and are made with "an engineered fabric membrane that shields the interior from UV rays and is both waterproof and fire-resistant," according to dezeen. The tents also include custom-made sofa beds and toilets screened off from the rest of the space with painted partition walls created by a Korean artist. These Glamping Tents sound like they would make the ideal camping experience; secluded from the city and surrounded by nature while sleeping in a comfortable bed protected from the elements. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Glamping Tents:** The rise of luxury camping tents creates an opportunity for companies to create innovative and comfortable outdoor experiences. - **Custom Fabric Membranes:** The use of engineered fabric membranes in outdoor structures creates opportunities for companies to design structures that resist UV rays and extreme weather conditions. - **Partition Walls:** Innovative partition walls present an opportunity for companies to design unique and personalized spaces for their clients. ### Where This Applies - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can incorporate luxury glamping tents as an attractive alternative accommodation option. - **Architecture & Design:** Companies can design outdoor structures using engineered fabric membranes to create safe, sturdy and beautiful constructions. - **Art:** Artists can showcase their talent by painting unique and personalized partition walls as functional art installations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Glamorous Camping Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lulu-glamping.md) - [Experimental Shelter Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grayhus.md) - [Lunar Lander-Inspired Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kudhva-kanvas-ktent.md) - [Posh Polyhedral Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tokyo-crafts-grayhus.md) - [Transparent Teardrop-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yuko-nagayama-associates.md) - [Inflatable House-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-architecture-inflatable-tent.md) - [Inflatable Geodesic Adventure Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerogogo-aerotent-series.md) - [Transparent Birchwood Nature Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immerso-glamping-cabin.md) - [Modular Camping Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/backpacking-tent-concept.md)
