Ordinary [pencil holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuff-pencil-cabinet) are sufficient when it comes to neatly organizing your things, but they're often bland and lack any pizzazz or personality. That's why accentuating your supplies with cute and glamorous materials will make you feel slightly better about your day. The given tutorial demonstrates how you can make this eye-catching creation with simply an [old salsa jar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hmm-design), some [frosted rocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zen-collection-1) and a hot glue gun. Featured on the site 'Skoope Home,' the Glacier Jar will help spruce up the way you carry your pens at work and at home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 84% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Personalized Office Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create DIY kits and online tutorials for individuals to personalize their workspaces with unique and stylish office decor. - **Upcycled Crafts:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop a marketplace for selling upcycled craft supplies, inspiring individuals to repurpose ordinary items into creative and functional pieces. - **Crafting with Natural Materials:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Launch a subscription service that delivers curated materials for crafting with natural objects like rocks, shells, and branches, tapping into the desire for eco-friendly and nature-inspired DIY projects. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrate augmented reality (AR) technology into the home decor industry, allowing customers to visualize how different decor items will look in their own spaces before making a purchase. - **E-commerce:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop an e-commerce platform tailored specifically for DIY enthusiasts, offering a wide range of craft supplies, tutorials, and community forums for sharing project ideas and techniques. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create a line of eco-friendly office supplies made from recycled or biodegradable materials, catering to the growing demand for sustainable and environmentally conscious products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Beach-Inspired Desk Trios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deskterior.md) - [Playful Packaging-Inspired Vases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/strawberry-milk-vase.md) - [Off-Kilter Desktop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-pen-holder.md) - [Soothing Tetrapod Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seawall-desk-accessories.md) - [Dumpster Pencil Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dumpstuder-pencil-holders.md) - [Adorable Luxurious Storage Compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-storage-compartment.md) - [Sparkler-Holding Glass Jars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sparkler-in-your-palm.md) - [Pebble-Like Beauty Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romantica-jar.md) - [Stackable Tower Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cyl-desk-organizer.md)
