The Mini Plus is only a few inches wide and tall, with most of the space being taken up by the device's 3.5-inch display. The remainder of the size is dedicated to the D-Pad and face buttons. However, the base device does not include joysticks or additional buttons. This is solved with the GKD Mini Plus's [modular design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ayaneo-pocket-s2-pro) which allows for attachments to be connected via the bottom USB-C port on the device. For example, GKD sells an expansion accessory that adds two joysticks and some extra ergonomic grips, which is excellent for playing [PlayStation 1](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miyoo-mini-plus) or [Nintendo 64](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/x5-alteron) titles on the go, where a joystick is needed.
