# Blockish Illusory Bathroom Facuets The 'Giro' Faucet Has an Unexpected Spout Design By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2020-06-27 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/giro-faucet References: [homecrux](https://www.homecrux.com/giro-faucet-by-gui-mattos/143337/) & [guimattos.br](https://guimattos.com.br/2018-edificio-pinheiros) The '[Giro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-giro)' faucet has been designed by Brazil-based architect Gui Mattos for Docol that highlights an unexcited functionality to help enhance the look and feel of the [bathroom fixture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delta-faucets). The faucet looks like a somewhat obscure metal block when turned off, but reveals the spout when twisted in order to offer users easy access to H2O. This creates a [bold aesthetic](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kohler-billet) that will help to enhance the uniform design of a bathroom and helps to make the essential fixture virtually from view when not in use. The 'Giro' faucet will only start to release water once it has reached a fully extended form to prevent splash or leaking from occurring. Users can control the water flow from a flow regulator at one of ends of the main box.
